How to Book a Trusted Raja Ampat Yacht Charter — Safely

A phinisi at anchor in Raja Ampat

In One Sentence

Contract-backed, staged, and direct

Booking a Raja Ampat charter with us runs on three safeguards: a written charter contract sent before any money moves, a 30% deposit with the balance only 30–60 days before sailing, and direct contact — WhatsApp and email answered within 24 hours. Every vessel is named and photographed on this site, and every fee is quoted in writing, operated by Komodo Luxury since 2015.

The same safeguards apply to every charter, large or small.

How Booking Works

Five steps between your message and the boarding ladder

  1. 01

    Enquiry

    WhatsApp or email

Send your group size, dates and wishlist on WhatsApp or email. Nothing is locked in yet — this is a conversation, not a commitment.

  2. 02

    Quote

    Issued within 4 hours

Within four hours you receive a curated list of two to four vessels sized to your group and budget, a draft itinerary, and a full cost summary with every fee spelled out.

  3. 03

    Deposit

    30% deposit · vessel reserved

Once you pick a boat, we send a digital charter contract together with the 30% deposit invoice. Paying it holds the vessel and locks your dates — by wire transfer, Wise or major credit cards.

  4. 04

    Final itinerary

    Signed off 30 days out

A senior planner maps your day-by-day route — dive rotation, karst stops, village calls. You get a draft, request changes, and sign off 30 days before departure.

  5. 05

    Briefing

Video call 14 days out · then boarding

A fortnight out we walk through packing, dive gear, diets and medical notes on a video call. On arrival, our shore crew meets you at Sorong (SOQ) or your hotel and the charter begins.
