Days 1–2: Sorong Dampier Strait
Board in Sorong and cross into the Dampier Strait — Sorong to Arborek runs roughly 53 NM, about eight hours. Arborek's jetty and the manta cleaning stations at Manta Sandy and Manta Ridge fill the first full day.
Days 3: Dampier Strait Cape Kri & Blue Magic
The strait's marquee sites — Cape Kri, Sardine Reef and Blue Magic, the strait's most reliable stage for oceanic mantas and passing pelagics.
Days 4: Dampier Strait Penemu & Piaynemo
Melissa's Garden, a hard-coral plateau off Penemu, then the wooden stair climb to the Piaynemo viewpoint.
Days 5–6: Piaynemo Misool
Two days among Misool's lagoons — Balbulol, the hidden Love Lagoon at Wayil, Boo Windows and Farondi, plus the manta cleaning station at Magic Mountain (Shadow Reef).
Days 7–8: Misool Triton Bay
Two days' sail toward Kaimana — open water, no other vessel on the horizon, and the longest passage on this itinerary.
Days 9–10: Triton Bay Namatota & the Iris Strait
Whale sharks gather around the bagan fishing platforms near Namatota and the Iris Strait, run snorkel-first. Afternoons go to Triton Bay's soft-coral slopes and karst channels.
Days 11: Triton Bay Kaimana
A final morning at anchor, then disembark in Kaimana with onward domestic connections arranged before you board.

October to April, the same prime window as the rest of Raja Ampat. Outside those months most expedition vessels reposition elsewhere.
They gather around fishing platforms in the area, similar in mechanism to the resident aggregation at Cendrawasih Bay further north, but no wildlife encounter is ever guaranteed. Your crew runs it snorkel-first and confirms conditions on the day.
It favours vessels built for range — Kudanil Explorer, a 50 m expedition ship, and Dunia Baru, a 51 m sailing yacht, both quote this route. Tell us your dates and we'll confirm which vessels in the fleet are actually available for a one-way passage.
Returning charterers, underwater photographers, and anyone who values solitude — reefs that see fewer visitors in a season than Cape Kri sees in a week. First-time charterers usually do better starting with the northern loop, and we'll say so candidly if that's the better fit.
