Raja Ampat rewards a yacht that can disappear into its own landscape, and Rebel was built for exactly that kind of vanishing act. Launched in 2020, she is the newest 30-metre hull on our Raja Ampat fleet list, a custom build conceived for Indonesian island cruising rather than adapted to it after the fact. At 30 metres she sits in the archipelago’s sweet spot: long enough on the waterline to carry eleven guests and a full crew in comfort, compact enough to slip between the karst towers of Wayag and anchor close to the reef where the day actually happens.
Eleven guests is a generous count for a yacht of this size, which makes Rebel a natural pick for extended families and groups of friends who want one boat, one table and one itinerary rather than a split charter. Her custom pedigree means the layout was drawn around warm-water expedition life: shaded deck space for the hours between dives, easy water access for tenders and snorkelling, and interiors planned for the tropics.
As with every yacht we place, the vessel is only half of the equation. Rebel charters through our concierge desk, operated by Komodo Luxury, part of Juara Holding Group, since 2015, with 800+ voyages across the network. Our Bali-based team handles the whole arc of the trip: Sorong airport meet-and-greet, marine park permits, provisioning to your table preferences, certified dive guides and photography support, so the eleven of you only have to show up.
Rebel is priced on application. As a guide, comparable 30-metre yachts on our Raja Ampat list charter from roughly $28,000 to $90,000 per week plus expenses, depending on age, finish and crew programme. Rates verified August 2026.

Charter fees follow the standard plus-expenses format: fuel, park and village fees, and premium provisioning are billed at cost. For a full breakdown of what a week actually costs, see our Raja Ampat yacht charter cost guide. Peak-season weeks over Christmas and New Year book out 9 to 12 months ahead, and 2027 dates are already filling.
Rebel suits the classic seven-night northern loop: embark Sorong, cross to the Dampier Strait for Arborek village, Cape Kri and Blue Magic, drift the hard-coral terraces of Melissa’s Garden off Penemu, climb the Piaynemo lookout at first light, then push north to Wayag’s lagoon maze before returning via The Passage. With ten to twelve nights, pair the north with Misool’s ridges and lagoons on a combined route; see the southern loop Misool itinerary for the day-by-day shape. Our planners adjust every leg to swell, wind and manta reports from the field.
Raja Ampat sits at the centre of the Bird’s Head Seascape, with 1,700+ recorded fish species and 550+ corals documented by scientific surveys. From Rebel’s deck the headline sites are all within the loop: Cape Kri and its record-setting species counts, Blue Magic’s oceanic mantas, the queue-etiquette cleaning stations of Manta Sandy and Sardine Reef’s fish storms. Non-divers are never an afterthought: snorkelling the shallows of Melissa’s Garden, kayaking karst lagoons, birding for red birds-of-paradise near Gam, and village visits at Arborek fill the surface hours. Our concierge arranges certified dive guides and equipment, and handles the Raja Ampat Marine Park entry fee (currently around IDR 700,000 to 1,000,000 per person per year; verified at booking).
Every Rebel charter begins at Sorong, the gateway city on the Bird’s Head Peninsula. Direct flights from Jakarta take about four hours, with additional routings via Makassar and Manado, or from Bali with a transit. From the arrivals hall the logistics are ours: our team meets you airside, moves your luggage and transfers you to the harbour, where Rebel lies ready with cabins made up and lunch underway. Guests connecting through Waisai or joining in south Misool for a one-way routing can be accommodated by arrangement.
Paperwork is handled the same way. The Raja Ampat Marine Park entry PIN card, cruising and anchorage fees, and village contributions along your route are all administered by our concierge before and during the voyage, so nothing interrupts the trip itself. All you carry aboard is a passport, reef-safe sunscreen and whatever book you have been meaning to finish. On disembarkation day, the schedule runs in reverse and is timed to your outbound flight from Sorong.
Rebel is priced on application through our concierge desk. Comparable 30-metre yachts on our Raja Ampat fleet list run from roughly $28,000 to $90,000 per week plus expenses, and December to March carries a 10–20% premium. Rates verified August 2026; enquire for a firm quote on your dates.
Rebel sleeps up to 11 guests, a high count for a 30-metre yacht. Cabin configuration is confirmed on enquiry, and our team will map your group, couples, kids, solo travellers, onto the layout before you commit.
October to April is Raja Ampat’s prime season, with the calmest seas and best diving conditions. December to March is peak, book 9 to 12 months ahead, while October, November and April offer the same reefs with softer demand.
Embarkation is at Sorong harbour. Fly into Sorong (SOQ/DEO), about four hours from Jakarta or via Makassar and Manado; our team meets you airside and transfers you straight to the yacht. Alternative embarkation at Waisai or south Misool can be arranged for specific routings.
