The richest reef fish count anywhere. Used for Advanced training, not first open-water dives.
A cleaning station on sand — students hold behind the marker line and watch, which is exactly the buoyancy exercise the course wants.

Three to four days including eLearning, certifying you to 18 metres. No prior experience needed — good health and comfort in the water is the whole entry requirement.
The same training standard and depth certification through SSI rather than PADI. Recognised interchangeably by operators worldwide.
Deeper dives and the skills the headline sites want — this is the level that opens Cape Kri and Blue Magic in current. Requires Open Water first.

A Seven-Day Course Charter
Arrive, settle aboard and run the first confined-water skills off the swim platform while the yacht steams for the Dampier Strait.
First open-water dives in light current, shallow and full of life. The gentlest of the four training sites.
Buoyancy practice at the cleaning station, then the village at Arborek in the afternoon.
The world-record reef, dived on a manageable tide window. Certification dives for most students land here.
Seamount diving in current — the Advanced skills dive, with a reef hook briefing beforehand.
The karst islands, with shallow reefs and topside viewpoints. A lighter day after the current sites.
Final dives on the way south, certification paperwork completed aboard, then disembark.

Questions
Yes. Open Water assumes nothing — you need to be in good health and comfortable in the water. The confined-water skills run off the swim platform before you ever visit a dive site.
Three to four days for Open Water including the eLearning, which you can complete before you fly. Advanced Open Water takes less time but requires Open Water first.
The course fee covers instruction, materials and certification. The charter fee covers the vessel, meals, guides and dive equipment. The marine park permit is separate — IDR 1,700,000 per international visitor.
The training sites come to you. Sardine Reef, Manta Sandy, Cape Kri and Blue Magic sit within a short tender ride of where the yacht anchors, so a course day is dives and skills rather than boat transfers.
