Combined 12-Day Expedition

The 12-Day Combined, Summed Up

Misool + Dampier + Wayag · a single voyage · shoulder window

This is the one itinerary that stitches together all three of Raja Ampat's separate ecosystems within a single charter. It sails only during the changeover periods of late April and late September, the rare stretches when tides and weather make it possible to safely connect the far north and far south.

What Sets It Apart

Four reasons photographers commit to 12 days

Both ecosystems

This is the single setup that drops you into the soft-coral walls of Misool AND the karst-and-current arena of Wayag during one charter.

Shoulder-window only

Runs in late April and late September alone — the pair of changeover periods when both regions can be reached at the same time.

Photographer endgame

The biggest leap your portfolio can take in one go — three separate ecosystems, a built-in weather cushion, and room to reshoot every marquee site.

Cendrawasih option

Leaves plenty of room to fold in the Cendrawasih whale shark add-on should you wish to tack on Triton Bay or Bagan platforms.

What Each Tier Costs

Price of the 12-day combined

Figure on about 1.68–1.72× the cost of a 7-day single-region trip. Entry-level phinisi seldom run the combined loop because of their slower cruising speed.

Luxury Phinisi

$126,000 – $228,000

whole vessel · 12 days

12 days @ $10,500–$19,000/day. The most popular tier for the combined route.

Motor Super-Yacht

$246,000 – $546,000

whole vessel · 12 days

12 days @ $20,500–$45,500/day. A steady platform for the long crossing days.
