About Samambaia

A two-masted Phinisi schooner built around the dive deck

Samambaia is a 42-metre traditional two-masted wooden Phinisi schooner carrying up to 14 guests in seven en-suite cabins. She is set up for diving rather than around it: a dedicated dive deck with its own camera room, tank and crate storage and a hot-water shower, up to four guided dives a day, and Nitrox fills included for certified enriched air divers. Onboard watermakers keep freshwater unrationed, and topside there is a spacious sun deck and a lounge to surface to.

Charters depart from Sorong, with the best conditions in Raja Ampat between October and April.
