The largest single line. Entry phinisi run $4,500–$6,800/day. Luxury phinisi land $10,500–$19,000/day. Motor super-yachts range $20,500–$45,500/day. Day rates are quoted at full charter and not divided per guest by the operator; that split happens inside your party.
Most contracts bake a fuel allowance into the day rate based on the contracted itinerary. Phinisi consume 320–480 litres of marine diesel per cruising day; motor super-yachts 1,800–3,400 litres. Extended routes add $4,500–$14,000 to the final invoice.
The Raja Ampat Marine Park charges a per-pax conservation fee. The 2026 rate is IDR 1,700,000 per international guest — that is the IDR 700,000 TLPJL permit plus the IDR 1,000,000 UPTD entry fee — and IDR 725,000 for Indonesian citizens (IDR 425,000 + IDR 300,000). Both are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Land transfers SOQ → harbour: $25/pax minibus, $350 private bus for 12+. Optional fixed-wing Sorong → Waisai or Misool: $950/pax round trip. Helicopter direct to vessel anchorage (motor yachts with helipads): $8,500–$14,000 one way.
From Jakarta (CGK) and Denpasar (DPS): $350–$580 economy round trip on Garuda, Citilink, Batik Air via Makassar or Manado. Business class Jakarta–Makassar: $850–$1,200. Intl chain from Asia/EU: $1,400–$2,800. From West Coast North America: $2,400–$4,800.
Tanks and weights included. Personal kit rental $35/day per set — regulator with computer, BCD, fins, mask, snorkel, 3mm full wetsuit. Underwater camera rental on luxury/motor tier: $75–$220/day depending on rig.
Customary 5% of the gross charter rate, distributed by the captain per ship policy. On a $75,000 luxury phinisi week = $3,750. Parties sometimes gratuity-up at 10% for exceptional service or when crew has gone above contract scope.

Inside luxury phinisi: lower-end vessels have 8 cabins and standard finish; upper-end carry 10 cabins with master suite, private spa cabin, dedicated photography post. Motor tier spread is wider — a 45m aluminium vessel at $22k/day operates differently from a 60m steel super-yacht at $42k/day with helipad, twin tenders, four-cabin VIP layout.
2026 rate cards are issued December 2025 and hold across the year barring fuel shocks. Peak Feb and Jul windows on luxury phinisi and motor tiers fill 12–18 months out. Off-peak holds inside 90 days for entry tier. Some vessels offer 3–5% early-bird discount for charters confirmed 9+ months out.
